What's a Cruise Line To Do?
Lately, there has been some talk over at cruisecritic about a large group that has booked the ship and are driving the other passengers bonkers. Apparently, not only are these people rude and obnoxious, the cruise line has allowed them to take over certain restaurants onboard, thumb their nose at the usually strict dress code, and essentially ruining the experience.
Unfortunately booking these groups are a big draw to cruise lines, because they bring in a lot of money and often do repeat bookings. But is it really fair? this is not a cheap cruise, folks. Having the staff look the other way is not a good way to keep repeat business. If you only care about the groups, just say so, the rest of us will go elsewhere.
But you can't have it both ways.
